I’m a freelance writer and journalist based in Paris.

Originally from London, I’ve lived in France for 7 years and often write about my adopted home. In March 2019 I was shortlisted for The Guardian’s Hugo Young Award for an opinion piece on becoming a French citizen. Other favourite topics include where to eat, cultural confusions and stereotypes (read more about these on my blog, Real French Girl).

My work has been published in HuffPost UK, The Local France, Travel Mag and Inside Over.

I also edit, translate and create content for brands and individuals. One of my favourite aspects of this work is getting to know different companies, and I truly enjoy to creating challenge of taking on different brand voices to bring projects and concepts to life.

Before writing for a living, I worked in education for a decade as an English teacher and educational materials writer and editor. I still often write about life in the classroom and occasionally make videos too.

If you’d like to discuss working together, I’d be happy to hear from you. Get in touch here.
